Lasagna (Adelle)
Ingredients
Meat Layer
1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 T parsley flakes
1 T basil (dried)
1.5 t salt
1 lb can tomatoes (2 cups)
12 oz tomato paste (2 - 6 oz cans)
Noodle Layer
10 oz lasagna noodles (10-12)
Cottage Cheese Layer
3 c cream-style cottage cheese
2 eggs (beaten)
2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
2 T parsley flakes
1/2 c parmesan cheese
Mozzarella Layer
1 lb mozzarella cheese (grated)
Directions

Brown meat slowly, spoon off fat.

Ad next 6 ingredients.

Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes to blend flavors.

Cook noodles as directed on the package.

Drain and rinse noodles in cool water and set aside.

Combine cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley and parmesan cheese.

Spray a 9X13 pan with non-stick spray.

Place half the cooked noodles in the pan. (Noodle Layer).

Spread half the cottage cheese mixture on the noodles. (Cottage Cheese Layer).

Spread half the mozzarella cheese in the pan. (Mozzarella Layer).

Spread half of the meat sauce in the pan. (Meat Layer).

Repeat layers.

Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour.

Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before cutting (allow to set).
